The Entertainment Room

Kiara nodded "Oh yead I'ld be find" she said as she blew her nose.

"Had a nesty rund in wid a woman with ice powers, I hate the cold, it makes my sick with the cold and flu. Oh I swear... nextd time i'd counter the woman I am going to fired her!" she said as she rumbed her forehead.

Ah a headache just what she wanted.

Mari frowned as her doctor instincts took over. "I'd get up to bed if I were you. You and Lisa, I swear..."

Kiara blinked "Lisa is sick to?" she asked.

Mari blinked. "She's getting over a cold."

"you'd think someone would have created a cure for the common cold by now." Lisa said hugging her blanket.

Mari grinned. "You'd think...But it keeps changing each year, like the flu."

Kiara shrugged "You would thind, so how did you ged yours? normal cold or did yead get by different means? I have a alerdgic readtion to cold, that I ice woman got me with to much ice."

Mari nodded. "I wonder...Kiara, Lisa, let's get you two warmed up."

Lisa shrugged, "I was just at Flustre's when suddenly I start sneezing and it went downhill there."

Mari said, "Yours is just a regular cold. At least stay wrapped up."

Suddenly Lynda appeared.

"Lisa, Mari!" She said hysterically. "Jamie's hurt!"

Mari frowned. "He's what? Take us there, now!"

"He's hurt!," Lynda said. Her voice was almost normal. "I don't know what happened.... Just hold on to me!"

Lisa didn't need a second telling, she held on to Lynda. "One...."

Mari grabbed onto Lynda. "Two..."

The three of them disappeared.

Rose walked into the Watchtower, hoping to find a place to stay. But when she walked in to the entertainment room, she knew the rent would be too expensive. Especially when she walked into the entertainment room. Rose saw the plasma and whistled. "Wow. These guys don't mess around."

Mal, who had been playing a game of solitare, looked up. "May I ask who you are?" she asked, confused. Why hadn't her mother called? New hero?

Kiara smiled as she walked in to the room and sat down.

"Hello, how are ya guy doing?"

Mal looked up. "Hey, Kiara. What's up?"

Kiara sighed, "Zombie attacked someone in the cafe today, they left with a guy with frizzy hair.... Needless to say it has been an interesting day" she said.

Mal sighed. "Wow... Mom thinks she's close to a breakthrough... She won't consult me though!" She shook her head. "It's almost like she doesn't trust me anymore..."

Kiara blinked, " I am sure that isn't it, why wouldn't she trust you any more?" she asked.

"I am sure there is a reason for her silence"

Mal sighed. "I'm sure you're right... I guess I'm just used to being able to help at the hospital without Mom stepping on my toes... Mom knows my medical training in the future... Not now..."

Kiara raised her eyes brows, she tended to avoid time travel to much of a headache.

"Couldn't you tell her then you have it then?" she asked.

Mal grinned. "I've tried... Ever since Great-Aunt Caroline came here, Mom's been... I dunno... Different."
