The Kitchen

The Watchtower's Kitchen.

Where there's usual a jar full of cookies for any passerbyer.

Kiara walked in to the kitchen "Hmm.. I feel like cooking"

Walking over to a cupboard she pulled it opened and looked at ingredients. "Hmm we got stuff for brownies, cool"

Kiara worked in the kitchen for a good 30 minutes before sticking the brownie batter in to the pan and out it in the oven.

"I wonder if anyone here likes brownies.." she wondered as she waited to the tasty treats to cook.

Mal and Mari walked in, arm in arm, giggling. Mari glanced at the hero. "Hi! I'm Marisol, Gallagher. Mari, for short. Can you tell me your name?" she pointed at her ear. "Or else it'll never stop."

Mal grinned. "Hi. I'm Malorie. Mal for short."

Samantha smiled. ""Hey, I'm Samantha Eppes...Sam for short. Nice to meet all of you." She sniffed the air. "I smell Brownies...yummm..."

Mari looked over. "Sam...It's me." She rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, yeah...Just making sure. and, it's still nice to meet all of you."

Mari grinned. "Ah, shopping is always fun..."

Sam grinned back. "What'd you shop for this time?"

Mari and Mal looked at each other. "Shoes!"

Sam grimaced. "I need to do that soon. Oh well, any new shoes that really stand out?"

Mari and Mal looked at each other again. "Well..." they started together. "There were these really cute pumps..." "Oh, my god, there were these flats!" And so on. No one could understand a word they were saying.

Sam sighed. Bad question. She sat down, ready to wait out the storm.

Mari clapped a hand over Mal's mouth. "You bite me, I will ground you into your real life." She looked at Sam. "You didn't want to hear that, did you?"

Lisa walked in the kitchen. "Hmm. I smell brownies."

Lynda appeared. "Did someone say brownies?"

There was a breeze and Jamie appeared next to Lynda holding a half eaten brownie. "Yep, brownies."

Mal escaped her mother's hold and kissed her boyfriend's cheek. "Hi you three."

Kiara laughed "My name is Kiara, or Kia, or Ara, for short take your pick. Nice to meat all of you" she said.

Checking the time she smiled "Ah they should be done"

Openeing the oven she rolled she sleves up and pulled the brownie pan out with her bare hands.

"Ah yes perfect, who wants one once the cool down?" she said as she placed it in a rack on the counter.

"I didn't mind, just didn't think you'd talk at the same time about 2 pairs of really cute shoes. Are there really that many cute shoes in the world?" Sam raised an eyebrow.

Mari raised her hand. "I do. Can I have your last name too? I'm sorry, it just won't go away, unless I have your full name..."

Kiara nodded "Sure, the name is Kiara Nightingale, pleasure to meet you"

She said as she started to cut the brownie in to squares.

Sam rolled her eyes. "Great. if I ever want the entire Watchtower to congregate I'll make brownies." She joked, raising her eyebrows at Mal and Jamie. "Please, not in front of everyone."

Mal stuck her tounge out at her aunt. "It's a kiss on the cheek..."

"We can do worst if you want..." Jamie grinned mischieviously.

"Browie?" Lynda said.

Sam Shuddered. "What? You could go on about shoes?" She asked mischievously.

Mal grinned. "Lynda! Hand one over!" she said, holding out her hand.

Mari grinned. "You are such a little girl at times."

Sam rolled her eyes, then teleported one to herself. "None are going to get down here, at this rate."
